When creating a page or editing the wiki, the following rules and guidelines should be followed:

Scope of Content

Content should be narrowly-focused on the Neo Tokyo community's lore, history, and technology.

Content regarding personalities should be avoided, unless the personality has been identified as a leader of the community in official documentation, e.g. zssbecker. Do not editorialize in an article about a personality.

Authorial Voice

Content should strive for objectivity, citing sources for any statement of fact, whenever possible. Do not editorialize.

https://www.wikipedia.org/ content and editorial standards are the aspirational standards for the Neo Tokyo Citizen Wiki.

Citations

Do not cite anything said or posted in the Neo Tokyo Discord. Do not use photos or screenshots from the Neo Tokyo Discord.

Allowed sources for citations include: tweets, official websites (or Neo Tokyo user-created websites), YouTube, OpenSea (or other NFT marketplaces), RarityMon, Etherscan, etc.

You should only cite personalities who are operating in their capacity as a leader or administrator of Neo Tokyo. When citing leaders or administrators, use the person's known screen name and avoid using their legal name. For example: refer to zssbecker as the source of a quote rather than Alex Becker.
