Due to the high-level proficiency and intelligence of its members, Neo Tokyo is largely a do-it-yourself community. The desire to provide a service or build a project brings Citizens together to form Neo Tokyo divisions. Divisions are independent and largely autonomous groups that are allowed to use the Neo Tokyo brand and affiliated social media accounts to deliver services to other Citizens or the larger crypto community. Some of Neo Tokyo's divisions are the Outreach Division, AMA Division, the Neo Tokyo News, and NT Plays. These divisions are funded by the sale of their services, advertising, or fees. Each division returns a portion of their revenue to the Neo Tokyo treasury. Division leaders or Neo Tokyo consultants are known as Leads or Councilors, respectively. | |||
All Citizens are encouraged to submit proposals to Neo Tokyo's Leads and Council members, if they have identified a need and a provide a service or technology to the community in a self-sustaining manner. | |||
