WHAT ARE IDENTITIES?
A Neo Tokyo Identity is one of the “code” NFTs in the Neo Tokyo ecosystem that is used to assemble a Citizen NFT or an Outer Citizen. It provides the foundation of your character (gender, race, character traits...).
They are a contributing factor when determining the overall rarity of an assembled Citizen and also help determine visual attributes of the Citizen NFT once it is uploaded.
IDENTITY TYPES
There are 2 main types of Identities: Season 1 (S1) and Season 2 (S2)
SEASON 1 (S1) IDENTITIES - NEOTI
2000 of S1 Identities were minted for free on Oct-25-2021 by solving riddles and playing mini games online. After the first batch, more S1 Identities were minted on the Neo Tokyo website by spending $Bytes.
SEASON 2 (S2) OUTER IDENTITIES - NEOTOI
4500 S2 Identities were minted for 1ETH each on Dec-11-2021.
No mention of bought identities? - fauve
IDENTITY RARITY
Both S1 and S2 Identities have varying rarities. Rarity of an Identity is determined by the contents (character traits) of its code.
Rarity is displayed via the text color on the code:
- White: common
- Green: uncommon
- Blue: rare
- Pink: epic
- Orange: legendary
- Black: ?
